The impacts of climate change in the coastal zone will have broad consequences for the Australian community. Coastal infrastructure on which the lifestyle and livelihood of many Australians depends will be impacted, from the largest industrial asset, to infrastructure that provides essential services such as communications, transport, sewerage and waste services. Preparing now can reduce future impacts and costs.
