Green Loans - Green Rewards

Claim forms for Green Loans – Green Rewards are being sent to eligible households during July and August.

To be eligible, you must have had a Green Loans home sustainability assessment completed at your property on or before 11 May 2010. You do not need to have received your home sustainability assessment report on or prior to 11 May 2010 in order to be eligible.

To receive the $50 Green Loans - Green Reward, you need to purchase one or more items from the list of energy and water efficiency products identified below, and provide receipts for these purchases.

You can claim a refund for any of the eligible items listed below as your Green Loan - Green Reward. The Green Loans - Green Rewards eligible items list is separate to what was recommended in your Green Loans home sustainability assessment report.

Some of the items listed below may require you to provide additional funds of your own as they exceed the $50 value of the Green Reward.

Please return your completed Green Loans – Green Rewards claim in the supplied reply paid envelope by 5 November 2010. Claim forms received after this date will not be accepted.

If you had a home sustainability assessment on or before 11 May 2010 and have not received a claim form by 31 August 2010, please call the Green Loans Enquiry Line on 1300 778 451 between 8am and 6pm (AEST) Monday to Friday, or visit the Contact Us page.

  1. Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) 
  2. Light emitting diode (LED) light bulbs
  3. Water efficient shower head, WELS rated nine litres per minute or lower 
  4. Water efficient tap ware and components, WELS rated nine litres per minute or lower 
  5. Shower timer 
  6. In-line flow restrictors for existing shower heads 
  7. Aerators for taps
  8. Rolls of flexible self-adhesive door and window seals
  9. Self-adhesive or screw-fixed door draught seals (rear of door type at the threshold)
  10. Pipe insulation for lagging
  11. Solar garden lights
  12. Grey water hose
  13. Water-less car wash
  14. Adaptable water saving devices for existing toilet and plumbing fixtures
  15. Standby switch deactivation products
  16. Compost bin or worm farm
  17. Downpipe diverter
  18. Dual flush toilet
