Green Reward Letters

Green Loans - Green Rewards letters and claim forms have been distributed to households that had a Green Loans home sustainability assessment completed on or prior to 11 May 2010. Eligible households will need to provide receipts to prove that they have purchased energy efficient products to claim their $50 Green Rewards. 

The mail-out commenced in mid July 2010. This is in line with the timeframe that was announced in the Budget. 

The Department is aware of a relatively small number of anomalies where a householder may have received a letter in error. These cases will be reviewed to determine whether the household received the letter in error or whether the case should be referred to our compliance team for further investigation.

The Department is taking steps to ensure all those entitled to Green Rewards are able to claim it.
