The National Greenhouse Gas Inventory provides estimates of Australia greenhouse's gas emissions based on the latest available data and the accounting rules that apply for the Kyoto Protocol.
The report includes an estimate of emissions for the four quarters through to the December quarter of 2010, an assessment of Australia's progress against the Kyoto Target and an analysis of emissions trends for the period 1990 to 2009.
Note: Since its initial public release on 18 April 2011, this report was updated on 5 May 2011 according to the Corrigenda.
