Carbon Farming Skills
The Carbon Farming Skills program will provide landholders with access to qualified and credible carbon service providers.
This measure will fund:
- development of a new nationally accredited qualification for carbon service providers, and
- accreditation of individuals and organisations providing services under the Carbon Farming Initiative.
Carbon Farming Skills will be administered by the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency.
Public submissions were sought on the design of an accreditation scheme for carbon service providers under the Carbon Farming Initiative.
The discussion paper, which was the basis of this consultation, is available here.
This consultation round has closed. The Department would like to thank all those who made submissions.
