Adaptation Research Networks

To harness research expertise and help build a collaborative environment to support research, up to $10 million is being provided to a number of Climate Change Adaptation Research Networks established to assist the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility.

The Adaptation Research Networks are:

  • Terrestrial Biodiversity (led by James Cook University)
  • Water Resources and Freshwater Biodiversity (led by Griffith University)
  • Marine Biodiversity and Resources (led by University of Tasmania)
  • Settlements and Infrastructure (led by University of NSW)
  • Emergency Management (led by RMIT University) Social, Economic and Institutional Dimensions (led by University of Melbourne)
  • Human Health (led by Australian National University) 
  •  Primary Industries (University of Melbourne)
  • Social, Economic and Institutional Dimensions (University of Melbourne)
