Blacktown City Council
We are actively engaged in the protection of the global climate and are now witnessing tangible greenhouse gas reductions by setting realistic targets and developing detailed strategies. This not only protects the environment but our quality of life as well.

Corporate

Future greenhouse abatement actions
- Council is currently engaging in the development of an Energy Performance Contract and has just committed to a waste contract with the UR3R waste facility that diverts organic waste from landfill and utilises waste generated methane as an energy supply.
