Port Macquarie-Hastings Council
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has completed Milestone 5 and is moving towards a 'business as usual' approach to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to global warming impacts. Council is now purchasing renewable energy that caters for almost 80 per cent of Council's power needs and is introducing changes to its fleet to improve fuel efficiency. Our next step is to commence the Cities for Climate Protection (CCP) Australia Plus program to make further progress in our response to global warming.
