Leeton Shire Council
Leeton Shire Council recognises the threat of global warming and the importance of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions. The achievement of M5 has required Council to identify the current level of emissions from our own operations and the community, set targets to reduce these emissions and develop and implement action plans to meet these targets. Council is seeking to reduce emissions from our own operations by 25 per cent from 2000 levels by 2010.
