Energy Efficiency Information Grants Program

The consultation period for the Energy Efficiency Information Grants Program closed on 6 December 2011.

The department is now considering all stakeholder comments received during the consultation period and these will help inform the program design.

It is anticipated that program guidelines for both programs will be released in early 2012.

The Energy Efficiency Information Grants Program will assist industry associations and non profits provide practical, tailored energy efficiency information to small and medium enterprises and community organisations.

The objective of the program is to empower small and medium enterprises and community organisations to respond to the carbon price impact on their energy bills by enabling them to make informed decisions about energy efficiency.
