Hunter & Central Coasts, New South Wales—Vulnerability to climate change impacts

The Institute for Rural Futures was commissioned to conduct an assessment of the vulnerability of the NSW Central Coast and Lower Hunter region to the impacts of climate change. The primary objective of the study was to undertake an initial, broadly interdisciplinary, appraisal of the vulnerability of existing and future residential, industrial, commercial and public infrastructure as well as natural ecosystems, to the impact of sea level rise, storm surge and intense rainfall in the Central and Hunter Coast region.
