- Technical Guidelines - technical guidelines on the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008 are now available, and, like the Reporting Guidelines, help explain the legislative requirements for reporters.

- Amendment Bill - amendments to the NGER Act were introduced to the House of Representatives on 26 June 2008. The proposed amendments will enhance administrative processes and allow the Government to publish additional information reported by corporations.

The National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008 sets out methods, and criteria for methods, for the estimation of greenhouse gas emissions and the production and consumption of energy.
