National Framework for Climate Change Science

The Government has adopted a new Australian Climate Change Science Framework. This Framework sets national climate change science priorities for the next decade. It identifies the science capabilities, human capital and infrastructure investment needed to deliver on these priorities; and sets out ways to harness our full science capacity to address those priorities.

Australian Climate Change Science Program

Australia is recognised internationally for the quality of its climate change science, and has the most comprehensive program of southern hemisphere climate research. The Australian Climate Change Science Program aims to improve our understanding of the causes, nature, timing and consequences of climate change so that industry, community and government decisions can be better informed.
